Handleless dishwasher

With the attention that our handleless Southfields shaker design has been receiving recently, we know for sure that the handleless approach to furniture design is currently very popular. The main issue we come across when creating a handleless design, however, is how best to include all of the necessary appliances without compromising on the overall feel of the space. For clients who prefer their furniture to have a freestanding, modular appearance, non-integrated stainless steel appliances are perfect. They accentuate the structured, chunky feel of the furniture, and help to add to this contemporary twist on traditional shaker furniture, shown perfectly in the Southfields handleless kitchen. For those seeking to create a handleless kitchen that flows easily with clean lines, however, integration is definitely preferred, but with the extra door thickness required for the integral finger-grooves we sometimes struggle to find appliances that will work.

Introducing the Smeg DI6013NH, a fully integrated, standard size dishwasher, with the pioneering addition of a push to open mechanism at the top of the door. Removing the need for a visible handle allows the appliance to blend in to the background and lets the furniture speak for itself. This appliance would work

especially well for those opting for push to open drawers in their kitchen design. With prices starting from just under £500, it could be a great addition to any handleless kitchen design without breaking the budget.

If you are interested in discussing the handleless options for your kitchen, then get in touch with some basic information regarding your project and we will be happy to talk through the options with you.

Maple Dresser - Magazine Feature

We are very happy to inform you that one of our bespoke dressers has been featured in the April issue of Beautiful Kitchens Magazine. The Maple dresser, with an oil finish, has an American walnut worktop creating a bold contrast between the different woods, as seen in this photo. Our dressers can also be made with a painted finish and Corian worktops for a more contemporary twist to the design. With the freedom to choose the paint colour yourself it can be supplied with a high standard brush finish, carried out by our highly-skilled painter in our workshop in Portsmouth.

If you opt for glass doors and shelves above, these can be supplied in either a clear or satin finish, handy if you want to show off your glasses and decorative pieces. The two drawers below are on soft closing runners for smooth access to your items stored there.

We have a variety of bespoke dressers and side-boards on our website. You may want to take a look at our gallery for some inspiration.
